Kisspeptin-10 Kisspeptin-10, commonly abbreviated KP-10, is the biologically active 10-amino-acid fragment of the naturally occurring KISS1 peptide. It binds to the kisspeptin receptor, KISS1R/GPR54, and functions as an important upstream regulator of the hypothalamic–pituitary–gonadal axis. In laboratory research, Kisspeptin-10 is studied for its effects on gonadotropin-releasing hormone signaling and the subsequent release of luteinizing hormone and follicle-stimulating hormone. It is also investigated in studies involving reproductive development, puberty, fertility, ovulation, and endocrine regulation. For laboratory research purposes only. Not for human consumption or clinical application.
